Spinel was left in silence for thousands of years, until, she received a message from Steven Universe. The message informed Spinel that Pink Diamond was now Steven Universe, and that he, and the crystal gems, had established peace across the galaxy. Spinel felt betrayed by Pink Diamond and seaked revenge by trying to destroy the earth.
