Celtic people recognised the importance of certain places that they felt were ‘thin places.’ These were where they believed the spiritual world and our physical world met, where literally the veil between the two worlds was so thin that a person could sense the spiritual in a powerful way.

1 year agoYes, I've heard of such places. There are also similar beliefs about certain times of the night & days of the year when "the veil" is thinner between worlds. 😘🤗❤🤗

1 year ago@Eclipse Thank you my sweet friend ⛅️ I hope you have a Happy Monday 😊 It’s overcast and chilly here. Dreams last night were jumbled conglomeration of identifiable stuff that was most likely unprocessed stuff from the daytime. My dad was with me. He was going with me to some kind of furniture store, but ancient items. I was looking at a huge wall size tapestry. I don’t even have a wall that big, but in my dream I was still living in my old apartment with high ceilings…..

1 year ago@Eclipse I didn’t want my dad to know what it cost because he would criticize me as always about the price, $260. I whispered this to the salesman who quoted a lyric from a Chris Cornell (also deceased) song “Now show me how to live”. I sang it also under my breath. The salesman led us to a showroom, where a 50-60ish middle eastern woman was waiting to show it to me. When I saw the tapestry it was beautiful, Madonna & Child, but was entirely in various shades of burgundy….

1 year ago@Eclipse Burgundy is okay, but less is more for me. Still, I decided to purchase it, but partly because I had this sense of obligation for giving the impression that I wanted it and also the woman was obviously so proud of it, I didn’t want her to be insulted or hurt. She was very happy and invited us to dinner. When we sat down to eat, my dad was no longer with me, it was Miguel. The food was not something we were familiar with, but appeared appealing to me & smelled delicious……

1 year ago@Eclipse there were two kind of entrees of blended vegetable recipes, and two small dishes with different sauces. The woman’s husband enthusiastically passed them to us. Miguel said he wasn’t hungry, but I tried everything & it was all delicious. I can identify the reasons for this dream, subconscious stuff & I made Tikka Masala last night for dinner. Miguel ate, but I was so tired, I just wanted to go to I bed.

1 year ago@Eclipse Good. I’ve been up for a little while. Let the dogs out, gave Kingston his meds and cold water. Got some coffee. Just hanging out with the dogs now and drinking my coffee. Might make a small breakfast. Usually oatmeal or PB&J with sliced banana on toast, bagel, or muffin.
