When I was younger I was made fun of a lot for my natural Afro kinky hair so I never wore it out in an Afro. One day I took my hair out of my twist and I didn’t know what to do with it, so I went to school with it out. One of the boys in my school saw my hair and told me “wow, your hair looks beautiful it looks like a bouquet of flowers, it’s really pretty”. I was told this over a decade ago but I never forgot. It Made me look at my hair differently.
