I thought this one would be fitting as I did my first Raku firing yesterday. While it doesn’t produce green smoke, the ones I did make have flashes of copper, green, blue, pink and so many more interesting colors. I was warned not to try it but I am so happy I did as it created the most interesting colors and designs.
Thank you so much for taking the time to check out my coloring. I hope you have a wonderful day 🙂🫶

Beautiful
Raku firing produces some of the most beautiful pottery. Years ago, I worked for a handmade tile company and I have a few pieces from a Raku firing that they did.

@Dottie (West Coast) That must have been so interesting to work there! I am sure you have seen and created some beautiful work. There’s so many different elements you need to take into account as ceramics art is such a science based construct. That’s part of what I enjoyed from the Raku firing was the unique and unpredictable element.
