It's pretty though.
Dee, I carried guilt for actions I did as a teen, for decades. When I finally made amends, the people didn't even know what I was talking about. But I did, and confessing was liberating. More importantly, I forgave myself for allowing others to treat me certain ways, because I had such disrespect for MYSELF. They treated my horribly, but I allowed it. I didn't need to forgive them ... they are no longer a part of my life. I had to apologize to and forgive myself, for

allowing it. I think we are taught to forgive others, even though at times, they don't deserve it. But, we are not taught to forgive ourselves.
We bring about self punishment when we don't forgive ourselves. I did it for years with finances. As a child I took money from a few people. I punished myself for this until I was in my late 30's for that. Manifesting financial trouble for myself. Once I forgave myself for the harm I caused others, that went away.

Am sharing that in case it reaches someone else. We truly punish ourselves way more than others do (in non physical situations) and we hold harmful words as truth. No one can truly be "forgiven" until they forgive themselves.
