"Should I Stay or Shoul I Go?"
I decided to force myself to color this, then I continued my high school music choices. I was a total New Wave girl. I loved it ... The B-52's were my favorite. I wore trench coats and "Joe Friday" neck ties and checked Vans ... egads!

1 year agoThis is so well done! My favorites my senior year of high school? Not many bc it was ‘84-‘85 and I was not crazy about a lot of music in the 80s. I did like Michael Jackson then and his Thriller album, along with most of the world. I also liked Billy Joel and saw him in concert that year. Still one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. He’s a great performer.

1 year ago@Beachgrl (Carol) I graduated in '83 ... I was a Talking Heads, Devo ... blah blah girl. Oddly, as an adult, my affinity lies in the 70's music I grew up on. That, Swing/crooners music and Claasical are my main love.
I love 70's Billy Joel.

1 year ago@leeway We must be about 10- 12 years apart in age?? I will be 58 in April. My mom would crank up "Stairway to Heaven" when we were kids.
But, she was all the classics ... Bread, The Carpenter's, Barry Mannilow and the Captain and Tennille. I still love that music!

I graduated in 85. I was in metal. I love Metallica (still my favorite to this day!!) but I loved all the hair bands, too. Motley Crue, Poison, Ratt, Warrent, Skid Row and ect..... but I grew up on all the 70's too cause of my older siblings. All the classic rock takes me back.

I actually did like the song you have in your pic I was a carpenters,Boston,Peter Frampton,Chicago,Foreigner,and many more funny you mention B-52 ‘s my friend and I up until a few years ago when we found out she had lung cancer every time we got together be at the lake or wherever we Blared “LOVE SHACK” when she was in the hospital not wanting to talk to anyone I let her know I’m always here and sent her “LOVE SHACK”in a text and her daughter said she started dancing!!
