"They Call Me Mr. Rustin"
One could argue that Mr. Rustin was the mind, heart and soul of the Civil Rights Movement. A Pacifist, he urged others to fight the "good fight" without violence. It was the Civil Rights protesters who answered with barbaric violence. Mr. Rustin was also openly gay and fought for the rights of LGBTQ humans as well.
No one's rights should be determined by a singular group. We need to co-exist and all humans deserve the right to be who and what they are.
