"Hellenistic Grace"
Roxie is good. Thank you so much for asking about her! They sent her home with an "easy collar" to be worn for 2 weeks. It induced such a panic with her I had to remove it. So, hopefully she doesn't chew at anything. She's acting like nothing has happened.
I enjoyed coloring this "Hellenistic" piece. It's a very old template but it felt new and fun.I am behind on galleries, may just give likes today.

1 month agoSo glad she’s doing well after her surgery. I remember having to switch my puppy to a different kind of collar that prevented her from bothering her stitches but I can’t remember what it was. She was NOT having that Elizabethan style collar they sent her home in. I hope Roxie continues to leave her stitches alone. Very nice job on this black & white, which you do so well 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

1 month ago@Beachgrl (Carol) 🇺🇸❄️❤️ They suggested a donut collar. But, none of my other girls were sent home with collars. I will keep an eye on her and may try to fashion something I can wrap around her or put on the area which won't cause her distress.

1 month agoGlad Roxie is doing well. If you can keep a close eye on her for a day or two she should be ok without the collar. Kimmie has been sent home “collared” twice, and both times she went ape as soon as we were home. I removed the collar and watched her closely and all was well. Good luck ♥️

I'm glad your kitty is home & happy. When we had ours fixed they didn't send them home in a collar. She'll be fine.
My patient went to Hospice last Tuesday. I've been trying to catch up on getting my garden set up and other stuff I'd neglected.
I hope you're doing well. Having a kitty to love really makes a difference, doesn't it? ❤️

1 month agoI'm so glad Roxie is doing great. I have a suggestion to replace the collar, get her and kitty shirt or sweater. After one of my cats got fixed and couldn't deal with her collar, I got her a sweater cause she needed something. Not only could she not chew on her spot, but she couldn't itch it either. With it being cold and her being a baby, she might like it? I never got a 2nd piece of clothing cause I'm not one of those people who puts clothes on animals!! Good luck!!
