first, ik this is a repost and i’m sorry. all my pictures for the past like two weeks have been reposts and i feel horrible for not coloring any new things but tbh i just don’t have the motivation.
second, i’m sorry i’m not happy. i wish i was and i wanna be but idk i just can’t ✨
third, i need your help. in a lot of ways lol, but rn in particular.
so i play violin and i have an audition coming up on 22 of june. im scared as heck bc i’m not ready and ik im not gonna do well.

2 years agoand if i don’t do well, then i don’t get the part and then my mom is gonna be so disappointed in me and think that i was just lazy. she says to not panic but that’s just naturally what i do ig- and now i’m freaking out. i have to memorize a bunch of stuff and i suck at memorizing stuff.
ig my question is what do i do? maybe, idk. i’m just so stressed that i’m going to forget a part or play the wrong note and do horrible.
also, there’s nothing i hate more then disappointing my mom (limit)

2 years agoso yea, i'm scared as **** and i've worked myself up so much that i can't breath bc i'm crying so much, so uh that's fun.
i just wish i was better prepared and i knew what i was doing- well ig i do but then in the moment i'll freak out and do terrible.
plus there's three parts to the audition-
7 (two octave) scales (that's what i'm struggling with the most)
a prepared piece from suzuki book 3 or higher (i'm pretty prepared on that, i'm playing humoresque)
and sight reading (limit)

2 years agoOmg Gray I’m sorry that that is happening. I’m saying you should do this but I actually quit band just cuz it was so hard and the teacher was so mean. I’m sorry but I don’t know how to help. I’m sure you’ll do great! Just try to distract yourself from it. Ily Gray!

2 years agoDon't be sorry for not being happy. I've been there, you feel guilty for being happy and you try so hard to get rid of the depression but it just doesn't seem like it'll ever go away. I want you to know that it will go away eventually. Take time for yourself, do what makes you happy.
My advice for your violin audition is to try your best. Work as hard as you can and if your mom is disappointed in you, let her know you tried your best. You can do this! You're gonna do amazing! Look up-

2 years ago@🌈 𝚐𝚛𝚊𝚢’𝚜 ᘺOᖇᒪᕲ 🌈~ 𝕔𝕠𝕟𝕥𝕖𝕤𝕥 I play violin as well and I had an audition piece for school, I ended up getting a good result even though I was sooo nervous, just take deep breaths, I played hunters chorus from Suzuki book 2, just believe in yourself and you can do it!!
