Well, I got some terrible news tonight. My mother tested positive for COVID again. She only just got over the last of her symptoms from it before a couple of weeks ago, but cancer has her immune system down so much that even with a booster shot, she already has it AGAIN. She was crying and I felt so helpless and angry! A relative of her sons in-law's came to a Christmas Eve small family get together knowing they had been exposed to

COVID, but they didn't bother to warn any of us there, and then they tested positive for COVID, then told us, and we were all like, "Oh crap!" and we were all upset that they had come to the party. Especially my mom with her nonexistent immune system! And now here she has it again!!!! All I can do is pray to God that she caught it early enough and that she survives it, again. And what makes it even worse is this relative is a nurse who works in a hospital who SHOULD KNOW BETTER!!!😠😷😷😷😣😭😭

@andriavanb Oh honey! I’m so sorry! I feel terrible for your mother, she deserves a break! All of you do! And you are so right about that nurse. Healthcare workers should know better, not to mention everyone should know better around a patient with cancer. I’m praying for you guys! Keep me updated! ❤️

@Eager2Color I appreciate your concern. I checked in with my mom and she was doing better today, so maybe this round of COVID won't be as bad for her... or everyone's prayers are working. One day at a time with her, and lots of prayers. ❤🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼💗
