I haven’t actually talked about the whole overturning of Roe V. Wade thing yet with anyone. I agree 100% with you, the only one who should control your body is you. It is really disappointing, discussing, sad, and a lot of things. Some people are dying cause of this. It’s sad cause I can’t do anything about.

1 year agoIt just Breaks my heart some people, even people I actually know are suffering from this. It breaks my heart that I can’t fix it. I can’t actually be very helpful to them while their life is on the line WAITING for court. It’s just sad.
It’s hard to have an opinion especially when all 4 of your parents probably don’t agree with you. Ik my dad in VA wouldn’t agree with me cause even his FB cover says stop abortions. That’s been his background cover since as long as I can remember.

1 year agoI don’t really know about everyone else but I’m pretty sure they all feel the same way. But then again we never talk about things like that.
Anyways I’ve always grown up thinking we should stop abortions and such because even In the womb they are living things too. They’re fighting for their itty bitty lives as you’re stripping it away from them. But then Idk I got older and started not only looking things in my (or my parents) perspective but other peoples too. Before this whole Roe V. Wade

1 year agoThing, abortions is what help me look at more then just my own perspective, on many things and topics.
This is just my opinion, I think that this would have never been a law if we wouldn’t force our perspectives, religion, and beliefs on people. We shouldn’t even be able too but I mean it happened so…
Yes I think we shouldn’t have abortions, Yes I think we should stop in courage them. Yes to a bunch of things. However, then again that’s MY OPTION, that’s MY perspective not everyone else’s.

1 year agoSo we shouldn’t full on force people not to have abortions, that’s not right. Just like abortions aren’t really right either. I’m not saying I would not gonna support you or hate you if you did have an abortion. That’s because I’m not you, you do whatever it is you want to do with YOUR BODY even if we ever disagree on what we think is right.
What we should’ve done was show women other options then JUST abortions. If they still want to have an abortion then okay, it’s up to them.

1 year agoThe government should’ve stopped funding abortions but instead fund people who need it. People who are about to have a baby they can’t afford. I was gonna say fund adoptions and kids I’m foster care but they already do that. However, they could help those kids more if they weren’t funding most of their funds on abortions.
So ig to sum it up I’m against having abortions but I’m also against making it illegal to have abortions. Because NO ONE should make a big decision like that for somebody…..

1 year agoElse only you can make big decisions for your life like that. Or you and your partner but even then you gotta make your own decision.
The only time someone should make big decisions for you is if you are SUPER unstable and it’s what’s best for you ( or and p your kids if you got any) but even then it’s not right.

Yk maybe I should write like an essay but not to make it not so confusing. Like each paragraph has one topic. Tbh I don’t know HOW I even get good grades on essay because then again I’m always all over the place😂😂

I agree, it’s so terribly heartbreaking. I hope one day people will wake up and see that by banning abortions, people will still be finding ways to get abortions, just now they will be doing it unsafely and illegally. 😢💔
My parents, who Im very fortunate to have, are very open minded. We live in a VERY republican, Christian, and conservative state (one I hope to leave one day)…

1 year ago@💞🤪K˟˚E˟˚N˟˚D˟˚A˟˚L˟˚L˟˚🤪💞 …My mother doesn’t support abortions, but she uses the mindset of “If this happened to my daughter, would I want her to carry the baby of her assaulter?” My father on the other hand, is very democratic and believes that men should have no say over this matter and a woman’s body is her body, it’s her choice. They are both very open minded and I’m very lucky to have been raised the way I was raised unlike the people I’ve grown up with. 🥲
