This is a flash of nostalgia 🎃🎃🎃. I think this was before I was born (Dec. 1953) …. It wasn’t far off ! It’s in the Our Gang/Little Rascals time period, but that series was on forever ! I do remember seeing this picture though, so it’s close enough for me to be an authentic antique now 😎😎😎. Yeah 😬. Here’s to all of us antiques (50 yrs is antique, just FYI). It’s really true that we regress in our memory as we get older ! Hmmm. I wish I could bring back my mom ♥️. Hugs to all from us🎃xo

1 year agoI love these vintage prints. I remember this type of illustration from when I was little and I’m right ahead of you in April 1953. This is so sweet and so beautiful 💕😊🎃

1 year agoI think this is closer to the 40's or so ... maybe even earlier. I adore the nostalgic greetings like this and as always, you color them beautifully!!

1 year ago@The Real Fish 🇺🇸 🇮🇹 Thanks Joe …. Or should I say “thanks fellow antique 😎😎😎”. We can now join an exclusive club of awesome, interesting people. I’m all in ⭐️⭐️⭐️. Hope the weather in NY isn’t too cold now — here it’s perfect in the day, but the desert sucks all the heat out at night and it drops 35+ degrees. Burrrrrr It’s not as bad in the city, but I lived closer to the desert before and I had to cover tons of plants. I only have a space heater so I bought a down comforter … perfect! 😎🎃

1 year ago@Dee Van It does look like that doesn’t it. I always heard at some point in aging you reflect on the past and remember many things from an early age even. I watched my Grandma do it long ago. My memory is not that good, but my Grandma Irene was born in 1900. She remembered things she had forgotten. But life was simpler and I wonder if you recall more. Our hectic lives leaves so much out because we’re so busy. Maybe we will get it all back! Hugs Dee ♥️♥️♥️. Sweet dreams

1 year ago@TracyNWOregon🌲 Thanks. It’s hard to say sometimes what era in the past I’m looking at. Before the 50s when so much changed after the War, the styles and more formal attire were for a long time.!!!! My parents all dressed up, everyone had mink stoles or coats, pearls were a must, we always had a new Cadillac back then before my died at 42 and my dad became an alcoholic. We had many of those in our family. I didn’t drink too much … I lived thru it all - no thanks. But I remember so much!

1 year ago@tcrain 🇺🇸🇲🇹 Glad you liked this one Carol. My Baxter had a melt down at the groomers today. He can barely see and I think it’s scaring him. I had to come get him and he clung to me all the way home. He just wanted to go home. We had lunch - I had bought some sugar free Pedialite on the way home and baked chicken. Then he slept most of the day. It was heartbreaking but he needs my love now. Catch ya later awesome one ♥️. Sending hugs😊

1 year agoAwwww....hope Bax is better today. having pets can be heartbreaking. We never had pets growing up, once I moved out I got 2 kittens which lived 15 and 17 years...omg losing them was devastating to the point we never had any more pets since. Have a great day...❤🍊🎃👻
