Gorgeous Black Crowned Crane, Donna! Beautiful detail and coloring! This African bird is an unusual, distinctive, and beautiful crane. The body is mostly black but has a pale wing panel, a pale pink-and-white cheek patch, and a bizarre yellow crest. Looks hunched in flight, when white wing panels become distinctive. Found in both wetland habitats and dry fields. Usually in pairs or flocks (ebird.org). Thank you for sharing this fabulous crane and for joining the Beautiful Bird Challenge!
What a shame, if you had received two more green hearts and one more pink heart, you would have been eligible for a new Tesla #3 Grand Prize drawing. Instead you have the admiration of all your Recoloring friends for another exquisite coloring.
